What is Píosa Cake?

Welcome to Píosa Cake. This summer I plan to ressurrect my bake stall, which had a small but happy following at the Bray Farmers’ Market when it first started in the Project School grounds. My plan is to sell from local car boot sales (around the Bray area) this summer, and use the blog to let you know what I’ll be baking, where I’ll be, recipes I like and perhaps I’ll take orders, if there’s any interest.

I have  a fondness for American style desserts, the kind of thing that’s perfect for parties, Christmas, bringing to your hostess. I bake the things I love, most of which my motehr made when I was a child, some things that I’ve collected along the way.
